Contact info@veyumo.com. Include the build number shown at the top of Settings, iOS version, chosen provider and steps that reproduce the issue. Do not send API keys, passwords or private recordings.

Connect your own AI

  1. Open Settings → My AI and open Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude.
  2. Follow the official provider links, create a provider account and an API key, and review its API billing. Consumer subscriptions do not pay for API usage.
  3. Enter the key, read the data-transfer notice, enable consent and tap Test connection and save. This makes one real request and may incur a provider charge. A new key is saved only after success.
  4. Select Use for translation in My AI. Each provider has its own stored key and consent. There is no automatic fallback to another provider.

Claude handles text correction and translation in Veyumo. For microphone input with Claude, explicitly choose Gemini or OpenAI as the speech-recognition provider and configure its key and consent as well. Audio goes to that speech provider; recognized text goes to Claude. These are separately billed accounts. Text-only input needs no speech provider.

Record or type

Choose the source and target languages and the style before processing. Tap the microphone, speak freely, then finish recording. No live transcript is shown. “Text” opens a new message for typing or pasting. Pencil buttons edit an existing result.

Review names, numbers, dates, negations and uncertain words. AI can make mistakes. Editing the source makes the old translation stale; explicitly translate again before sharing.

Common questions

Quota or billing error

Check API credits, billing and model access in the selected provider’s official console. Veyumo does not manage or collect provider payments. Requests are not automatically retried.

The voice is unavailable

Playback uses iOS speech voices. Available voices vary by language and installed system resources. Adding a language to the text catalog does not guarantee that iOS has a voice for it.

Update or reinstall

Use the same signing team and Bundle Identifier when updating with Xcode. Install the newest complete version directly. Removing the app can remove local history and settings; Keychain persistence after removal is not guaranteed by Veyumo. Keep your API key safely in the provider account.

Languages and QR

The app has separate interface and translation language choices. Translation quality, speech recognition and voice availability vary by language and provider. QR conversations are not included in this release.

Настройка ИИ

Откройте Настройки → Мой ИИ → нужный провайдер. По официальным ссылкам создайте API-ключ и настройте оплату API. Введите ключ, изучите уведомление, включите согласие и нажмите «Проверить подключение и сохранить». Проверка делает один реальный запрос и может быть платной. Новый ключ сохраняется только после успеха.

В «Использовать для перевода» выберите Gemini, OpenAI или Claude. Ключи и согласия отдельные; автоматического переключения нет. Claude исправляет и переводит текст. Для записи с Claude отдельно подключите Gemini или OpenAI в качестве распознавания: аудио получит выбранный распознаватель, текст — Claude; расходы возможны у обоих.

Как пользоваться

До обработки выберите языки и стиль. Микрофон записывает сообщение целиком, без промежуточного текста. Кнопка «Текст» открывает новое сообщение для ввода или вставки; карандаш редактирует готовый результат. Перед отправкой проверьте смысл, числа, имена и отрицания. После правки исходника явно переведите заново.

Ошибки, голос и обновления

При ошибке квоты проверьте оплату и доступ к модели в кабинете провайдера. Обычные подписки Gemini, ChatGPT и Claude не оплачивают API. Автоматических повторов нет.

Озвучивание использует голоса iOS: они есть не для каждого языка. При обновлении через Xcode сохраняйте прежние Team и Bundle Identifier. Последнюю версию можно ставить сразу; последовательная установка предыдущих не нужна. Удаление приложения может удалить настройки и историю. Сохранность Keychain после удаления Veyumo не гарантирует.

Язык интерфейса выбирается отдельно от языков перевода. Качество перевода и распознавания зависит от провайдера и языка. QR-беседы в этот выпуск не входят.

Android setup

On Android 8.0 or newer, open Veyumo Settings, connect your own Gemini, OpenAI or Claude API key, read the provider terms and enable consent. Testing a key makes one real, potentially billable request. Select the provider for correction and translation. Claude needs a separately connected Gemini or OpenAI speech recognizer for recordings.

Choose languages and style before recording. Tap the microphone, speak, then finish recording. Review and edit both texts before using the Android share menu. Playback needs installed offline voice data. A Google Play release is being prepared; no public Android store link is available yet.
